Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default just baught a 78 ramcharger need some info on this thing

i am turning my 78 ram charger into an off road machine rock crawler it is all stock far as i can tell. Can any on tell what kind of front axle it has somebody said it has a dana44, also can any one tell me about the np203 transfer case if it is a part time or full time i just need some info on these things it would be vary helpfull and if they are pretty durable for off road punishment.

203 is full-time chain driven. You'll want a 205 (full-time gear to gear) if you're going to do serious off-roading/crawling.

Front axle is a Dana 44. Rear axle is a Chrysler 9.25.
