Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default auto to manual motor swap.

im swapping a 1974 360 (enigne code F) into a 1980 w200. which came with a 360 (engine code T) well the 74 engine came out of a truck with a auto tranny and im swapping it into my truck with a manual. i put my flywheel onto the 1974 360 so that i could hook it up to my manual tranny. well the pilot bushing that i bought to put in the new motor is to big to fit into the crankshaft of the 1974 360 but it fits into the 1980 360. i looked up the part numbers for both motors and they are both exactly the same....so is there diffrent pilot bushing that i have to get to swap the 1974 360 into the 1980 truck? sorry if this is kinda confusing sounding because im being slightly sidetracked by my cousin who is looking at stupid videos and keeps telling me to watch them.....so yah if you have any questions just ask.

Default RE: auto to manual motor swap.

ok well it turns out that you have to buy a smaller pilot bushing to fit into the crankshaft, since it came out of an automatic the hole is smaller. probably becuase it isnt used when its an automatic they decided to make it smaller.
