Just bought an 84 Ramcharger, runs a little roughand the tranny won't engage. Guy told me that it would engage when warmed up but he dropped the pan and let it sit for 2 years prior to my purchase. Hoping to not have to remove it but If need be I will. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

Have you changed the fluid and filter?
