Hubby just bought an 89 RamCharger - dash lights flicker / don't turn on / don't turn off - - Oh yeah this thing is going to be a nightmare.

I ran down and grabed him a Chiltons but it isn't specific enought. What I need is any wireing info on the dash - ohms - volts - step downs the whole nine yards.

This might sound funny but look under the dash in the dark and look for sparks.Also check anywhere that there is a wire runnuing through the firewall that is unprotected. good luck.

 

If the dash illumination lights are flickering then you may have a ground problem or a bad dimmer/headlight switch or connector.

 

think i got it fixed loose ground but the light swich wiring looks streched out of connector so will se how it goes its in for new heads so i can run headders without smog ports
