Default Resetting computer on 08

I couldn't find an answer using the search function. How do I reset the computer on an 08 QC 5.7L?

Thanks

Can't you just disconnect the battery?

Yup, that's a reset. Otherwise if you are just trying to clear a code, you need an OBDII reader, so you can go to an auto parts store and their reader can read and reset most codes.

Assuming you want to reset your PCM:
1) With key in off position, remove fuse (#19 for 2003, #23 for 2004-2005, #31 for 2006-2008)
2) get in , close door, buckle seat belt (needed only to silence alarms), turn key to on - not start,
3) wait about 10-20 seconds and should hear one or two chimes
4) turn key off
5) replace fuse (#19 for 2003, #23 for 2004-2005, #31 for 2006-2008)

I have to do this procedure whenever I return my truck to stock (flashpaq 3815) or change tire size as my blinkers work in half-time whenever the speedo is changed. Or, I can wait 5 hours and the blinkers return to normal by themselves.

Removing the negative cable for about 30 minutes will clear the data cache as well. I've also seen where disconnecting the positive battery cable and grounding it (NOT to the negative terminal) will reset the PCM -- I've never attempted this test though.
