Crankshaft position sensor bolts.
Those two bolts at the top seem impossible to take out. I'm this close to just pulling out the motor till the 5.9L is ready...
I almost stripped out the head on the bottom picture.
I know that's a real tight spot I have the scar to prove it. IDK what to do? Can you sacrifice and weld the hex bit to that bolt and take it out that way? EDIT I seem to remember that my Crank Sensor bolts had a hex head that a socket fit on so you might check with the dealer to find out the correct fastener to use there. It could be that yours is correct since they used both metric and standard sizes on these motors they might have used the type of hex driver bolt you have OE on yours.

I had to do a weld on the locking pin bolt on my differential. You might also try a chisel/hammer and tap the grooves of the head...you'll want to get as far outside of center and still get bite into a groove. Don't tap in the center or you could shear the head off.
I ordered an allen wrench set, cheap one I may get some use out of larer. Gonna see if I can get it loose without loosening it. Then I'll jb-weld in in place then crank. When I put the new one in I'll use actual bolts.
