So when I try to engage the leaver the transfer case engages fine but takes awhile (2-3 minutes) for the axle to engage and for the 4wd indicator to kick on. From what I seen the lines from the actuator to the t-case are fine what else should I check?

 

Check if you good vac at the cad. The metal tubes that runs along the frame sometimes rust up inside blocking the vacuum. May want to check the vac check valve also.
