I looked at a 89 d150 2wd auto 3 speed automatic. Someone was going to make it a drag truck and took all of the climate controls and heater core out. The trans was bad and the new owner installed a 904 trans(1991 truck) and had the 727. From what i have seen the 904 is a OD trans. So how much trouble to do the heater dont care about the ac now and what aboout the trans? Thanks

 

If the trans has od you will know by the longer tail housing. If the truck didn't have od the cross member for the trans will need to modified.
The A518 and A500 are od.
