Can you provide some background? What all has transpired to get to this point?

when I had bought the truck the person said they were driving it one day and it had just quit running and that they had a mechanic tell her that it was the crank shaft position sensor .....but when I purchesed it I had replaced it and since then I can't get my truck. Up and running still no start and no spark

since you say you replaced the distributor, it's possible that your injectors aren't fire without having the injector timing reset. The fuel injector timing is set thru the pickup coil on the distributor. The ECM has to relearn the cam position sensor/pickup coil so it has to be pretty close to being on the mark when you replace it.

We need you to explain what you did from the beginning. Did you ever figure out if it was the spark or the fuel that caused the no start condition in the first place? If you changed or moved the distributor the fuel injector timing (fuel sync) may be off in addition to the original problem. The ignition timing is done by the PCM. There is a notch in the distributor housing to line the rotor up with when it's on #1. That will get the fuel sync close enough until you get it running and set it with a scanner. Someone on here has a picture of it.

I would also make sure it has gas in it. The gauge could be broken. I have worked hours on a vehicle that was only out of gas. Yes I felt really stupid.
