I have 1997 Marine 1505.94 point 4 x 4 four-wheel-drive automatic transmission I do not have the shift bracket support for the shifter linkage. The small support bracket I’m missing but when I receive the truck, it was missing, but there was a wire automatic start switch like a handyman switch that was wired up to the vehicle speed sensor on the back of the transfer case to the starter to the battery and it was cranking but no start I had since replaced that and the wiring harness from engine to transmission no crank no start so I went through a new starter new alternator. I had to replace the alternator anyway cause I broke the stud new starter and the cable that comes from the battery to the starter with the activation wire replaced all that today no crank no start doesn’t crank it just I’d get in. Turn the key and I hear a clicking noise, but nothing I’m scratching my head. I’ve checked the wiring harness a few different times. I don’t see anything. This is a brand new little brand new to me, but when I received it, I had went through to make sure everything was good. It was it was also it came from a running truck, but the guy had a pulled motor for his customer so I got it Brandi wiring harness essentially what am I missing? I need help. I am frustrated as I’ll get out. I just want this thing to run and drive
if anyone can help or guide me to getting this to run I will be more then greatful I work Monday-Friday and even on weekends I help out at church and a few other people but only have a few hours at some weeks to work on it and it’s frustrating me to no end

My apologies my phone has been glitching 1997 ram 1500 5.9 magnum with 4x4 and automatic transmission currently I don’t have the transmission shift linkage support bracket but I replaced the engine and transmission hardness because it was cut up to bypass tht vss at tht transfer case to tht starter I put tht new one in and got a new starter to battery cable but no crank I get in to turn the key and nothing I do hear tht click and buzz but not cranking it turning over at all

 

Yes it dose have a new starter and brand new starter cables as well
