Default Mopar 4885113AA Evaporator Heater-Actuator

This part has been discontinued for a while. Has anyone replaced it with a different vacuum activated actuator or found a work around?
What about converting it to electronic then capping the vacuum lines?
I also thought about cutting the connecting rod then closing the door since It's not often I need anything but full ac in Louisiana.

Also, if I'm way off base on this please let me know.

Thank you for any advise you have,

Aaron.

It’s vacuum, I replaced the check valve on the passengers side if the manifold and that solved my wild vents.
this is a vacuum door between the evaporator box and the fender. A vacuum line runs into it and there is a rod that goes to the fresh air door (I think).
there is another rod that I think controls the blend door that’s inside the plenum. (I may be wrong on this) I opened the cover to spray coil cleaner and I saw it. My airflow seems weak so I was looking to see if it was clogged or dirty
