Las Vegas Roll Call
Hey, haven't checked in on this forum in a couple months but I'm going to start looking back at this one regularly. Been a member of this forum for a few years, been in Vegas for 2 years, and it'd be cool if we could get a Vegas thing going.
New Here. Just bought a 2003 Durango SLT: 4.7 auto with 3:55 and tow package, three seater ,under 60K. It is our only vehicle. Live in Boulder City. Moved here (LV area) from the east in 1993. Wife and I are retired and enjoy camping. We have a small 19 ft travel (about 3500 lbs) twin axle trailer. Have concerns about the MPG of the Durango. Am getting about 14 mpg. Is that what I should expect?

Just logged in and looking around because the old truck is going to hit the road again soon and need to get her up to speed.
Have a 65 D200 4d stock except engine and tran which I changed out to a 440 HP out of a 1978 CHP car back in 86 when I was in the Navy. Drove it all the time when I lived in Oregon and took it hunting as I have a 1966 caveman camper on it too with a 8 foot cabover.
Love the truck except for the gas tank as I still have just the 16 Gal stock tank on it and with the 440 and 4.10 gear 10mpg is a good day.
bye for now
