2nd Annual Back To School Bash Car, Truck & Bike Show in Hampton, VA
As founder of Hampton Roads Mopar Enthusiasts (HRME), I am inviting local car, truck and bike clubs and enthusiasts to attend the 2nd Annual Back To School Bash Car, Truck & Bike Show. The show is an annual charity event sponsored by HRME to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Here is what I have so farfor this year's show. Additional details will be posted as they are made or change. Please note that details are subject to change, so please keep checking back.
1. Location: West Hampton Baptist Church, 631 Aberdeen Road, Hampton, VA 23669
2. Date: Saturday, July 26, 2008
3. Rain Date: Saturday, August 9, 2008
4. Time: 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- Registration: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Judging begins: 1:00 p.m.
- Awards: 3:00 p.m.
5. Classes (awards to the top 2 in each class):
- Pre-WWII (all makes/models)
- Classic GM(WWII-1978)
- Classic Ford (WWII-1978)
- Classic Mopar (WWII-1978)
- Classic Foreign/Import (WWII-1978)
- Classic Truck/SUV (WWII – 1978) (all makes/models)
- Modern GM (1978 and newer)
- Modern Ford (1978 and newer)
- Modern Mopar (1978 and newer)
- Modern Truck/SUV (1978 and newer) (all makes/models)
- AMC (all years)
- Street Rods / Pro Street / Race Cars
-American/Domestic Tuner
- Foreign/Import Tuner
- Sport Bikes
- Cruisers/Dressers
6. Additional Awards:
- Best Interior
- Best Paint
- Best Display
- Best Engine
- Kid’s Choice Awards
- Best of Show
- Best Club Participation
- Farthest Distance Traveled
7. Live music.
8.Space Walk for the kids.
9. Dash plaquesfor the first 50 registered entrants.
10. Food: Don's Hot Dogs and The Pink Ladies Cafe.

All donations will go to cover expenses of the show, and any donations above and beyond those expenses will be included in the donation to St. Jude. Please note that, unfortunately, since HRME is not classified as a charitable organization…and does not qualify as one…donations are not tax deductible.
