Default Cylinder Head Porting

Any good places in Florida (mainly Central FL) that I could get my cylinder heads ported? I've heard of this place in Daytona that is good but, I don't know how to find them. I think the name of them is Fast Freddy or something.

One of the site sponsors is down in Florida. Might want to contact them.

http://www.southeastperformance.com/

They advertise a porting service.

Don't forget to tell them you saw it on Dodge Forum.

Thinking about it, I did call them a few times (not knowing where they are located) and they didn't pick up the phone. I'm gong to try again get quotes and also see what city they are in.
Don't people who are members of the forum get discounts?

I've been told we do with the site sponsors. How serious of a porting job are you looking for? A good gasket match and polish would go a long way in most street applications. You know just knock off what little flash the head has.

If you have trouble getting in touch with them post back and I'll see if there is an alternate means of contact for them.

I was thinking about the stage 1 Cylinder head porting job. I'm not going to go crazy w/ my engine (ex: turbo) so I'm thinking the stage 1 will be fine. What do u think?

My largest problem is I don't know how to do engine work. I would be able to port my heads and also do a cam job but, I also need to pay for labor (that will kill u).

I don't want to ship off my c. head b/c I would like to drive my car whenever I want (not have it sitting around). The best thing for me is if I'm able to drive there and have the co. port my head then and there. I would also like them to take my c. head out and re-install it. This all depends how much they will charge that's why I should contact them.

Doesn't porting also make your engine last longer?
Would u port your heads before u install a cam, valve springs, cam gear etc.?
U think I will feel a difference if I port?

Porting won't change the life of your engine.

If I was going to do it, I'd probably do it at the same time. One option you may have considered is buying a head to have prepped the way you want, then have it installed when you're ready. This way

With everything you have done to your car, you may feel it a little bit. It really depends alot on how bad a shape the head is in as far as variance from the gasket size and casting flash. When I had the head off my 96 Neon, i noticed that it wasn't too bad from matching the gasket and there really wasn't much flash, but every little bit helps.

I called Southeast performance today and they didn't pick up the phone again. I guess I'll see if they call me tomorrow b/c I left them a message. If not, I guess they don't want my business.[&:]
