Tie-Rod End Problem
Check this out. I told my co-workers to install a Top Gun Customz leveling kit in for my 06 R/C 1500. It looks sweet but when I came back from a party @ the beach the steering started to shake like a b!#ch. So I got into town and was about a good 1/2 mile away from my house and the truck started bunny-hopping like crazy and the brakes locked up on me!! So I pulled over and to my disappoinment I found that the passenger side tie-rod end popped off and the bushing along with the nut was off & couldn't be able to find it. I ordered a new one through the dealership I work @. My question is, will it mess up any other suspension or transmission related parts being it is a 4by? Just wanted to know cuz I didn't wanna drive it @ all till I knew the part's coming in and being the cheap-*** I am, I didn't wanna tow it in. None of my friends have trucks to help me tow so I dunno. You think the roadside assistance will cover towing from my house to my work place? Any responses would be greatly appreciated.........Aloha!!
