I am lifting my 89 r/c and I am having trouble getting the steering arm off so I can add the steering block that came with the kit I tried wd40 and a deadblow hammer with no luck. Would I be better off leaving the steering arm where it is and using a dropped pitman arm, or do I have to take a torch to the steering arm and try to heat it up and remove it that way? I'm almost done with the lift somebody please help.

 

Have you tried using a gear puller on the arm ???
