Default Bumpy Rides

Hello everyone!!! Well im not too knowledgeable about automobiles in general, but I hope to find out as much as possible on my stay here at dodge forum. But i have a very simple question (i hope). Well I bought a 2001 ram 1500 about a year ago, and I've been experiencing some bumpy rides while ive had it.....I hate to even see the sight of a speed bump! I was just wonderin, wat should I think about replacing first: the SHOCKS, or the SPRINGS?

Shocks should be replaced. The springs should have a long life left ahead of them unless they are broken.

Definitely the shocks first, but if you can spare the cash do the springs at the same time so you don’t have to take the suspension apart again.
