I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 QuadCab. i was thinking about dropping it and i was thinking about lifting it. What are the disadvantages and advantages of each system. If you have any product recommendations please help me.

well if it's a 4x4 then of course ya gotta lift it...but if it's a 4x2, then deffinitly lower it.....around here all i see is lifted trucks everywhere, and while i'm all for em and have one myself, i like the look of a fullsize with a 2/4" drop on it...kinda gives it that lil something extra and plus around here ya never see a dodge ram lowered....McGaughy's makes a really good lowering kit, which is what i have on my truck, and i have a Tuff Country 6" suspension lift on my 77 powerwagon and it's a pretty nice product too

Just my opinion, if the truck is 2wd, drop it!!
4wd, lift it.
Lowering is going to be cheaper, and I think looks better. (kits are cheaper, easier to install, wheels/ tires are cheaper than 35's/37's too) Trucks are made to be big.Well, i like being diffirent. Diffirent is what people like, what stands out.
BUT, nothing catches your eye than a BIG A$$ truck!!!!!!

Good Luck however
