I have been looking everywhere and i can not seem to find a lift kit for a 2006 dodge ram 2wd. I can find them for models up to 2005 but none past. I was wondering if anybody has come across a SUSPENSION lift kit for a 2006 dodge ram 2wd. Thanks in advance.

Now for the questions...
1. Can i somehow use a 4wd lift kit and just not use some parts or modify some parts to make it fit my truck?
2. Ihave considered a body lift, but i have heard they aredifficult to install? any opinions?

i will probally have more questions as this discussion goes on.

how much of a lift are you looking for. I was able to find a kit from procomp on 4wheelparts.com Part #EXPK2062B

let me know if that helps. The biggest thing is that companies make most lifts for 4wd and lowering kits for the 2wd.

i saw the suspension system. Does that lift kit make the truck's front end higher than the back? I am not really into that. I wanted a lift kit which puts the truck's body basically level.

 

I'm having the same problem, 2006 2WD... ive been looking since I got the truck in 2006... all i have ever found is a 6" kit, but all i really want is a 2 inch leveling kit... the problem is that there is such a big difference between the 2WD and 4WD suspensions in the 2006+ rams.... the MFG's would have to design two completely seperate systems.

 

There are at least two different lift setups for 06-08 Ram 2wd.

Fabtech has a 6" lift - It is a full suspension drop down including sway bars or
CST has a 7" lift - 3" spindles with 4" coils and 3" blocks in the rear

Just bought a 2WD leveling kit from Daystar for 40.00. Just remember when doing lift kit it will void you warranty for the suspension.
