Default lowering '97 Dakota

I have a '97 Dakota and I'm looking to lower the truck. My family bought me a sniper body kit and I don't know what parts if any I will install, but I know that I want to lower it so it looks right. Problem is, I don't want to slam it. Can anyone provide me with a little guidance?

i know this is old, but here you go.
a 2/4 drop kit will make your kit look killer, any more you may hit ground with it.
drop lower arms in front, and shackles or lowered leafs in the rear will maintain your ride quality
