Default Newb to trucks. Could use some advice on a drop....

First of all, yes I've search. My local Minis Forum is no help, so I have come to you guys.

I have a 99 Durango 4x4. Has the factory lift kit. But I want to go the other way. Wanted a clean ride with 22's. But I like my cars LOW!

This is my first truck I've owned and don't want to do it the cheap way. At the same time, I want some what of a smooth ride.

So my questions are:
-Do they make lowering kits for 4x4s? If so, could someone help me...
-Will a 4/6 drop clear 22's with some 40 series tires?

Commenst are welcomed. Since this is a plan for now, I could use a hint from people that have experience this before...

Thanks in advance guys!
