I have a Rancho 4" Suspension kit on my 04 Hemi QCSB 1500 4x4 and love it. However, I checked and they DO NOT make it for a 4x2.
Most 2wd kits are either 3" or 6", however I was able to find one that will fit your truck. It's made by CST Performance and is 4". I have no personal experience with CST lifts, but they do have a solid reputation in the industry and are fairly inexpensive.
Here is a link with the best price I found:

I decided on a 6" and found this, is this a good kit? http://store.topguncustomz.com/store...amp;i=25473906
I'm trying to stay within the 1,000$ range.

Even though I've never attempted to lift a 2wd truck, I do have experience with Top Gun products. I've installed their level kit on a friends truck and have another hunting body with one of their 4x4 Suspension kits.
Quality on their stuff that I've seen seems very good and their documentation has been excellent.
I don't think you could go wrong with that one...

Due to a sudden change in money i have decided to go with the 3" suspension from Rough Country. I have a few more questions. Does a lift kit lift both front and back? i see leveling kits but dont really know what theyre for other than the obvious leveling part. http://www.roughcountry.com/dodge_2wd_02-05_3.html if i were to purchase this lift would i need a leveling kit? Also could i add a 2-3" body lift with this kit on?
