Default 3/4 drop on a dak

I'm looking for a 3/4" drop kit for my 97 dak
the problem lies where most kits are for v6's or v8's
I have the 4-cyl.
does it matter that i have the smaller engine?

also, would I be better off getting a kit or by using components?
I want to keep the smooth ride, and I don't want my bed to be useless.
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated
