Default Lift Advice

Hi, i have a 97 Ram 1500 4X4 with a 3" body lift. I have never done a lift kit on a truck before so i have a few questions. I want to have a higher lift and was looking for a good suspension lift. Should I go with a 5" Lift and ditch the body lift or keep the body lift and just get a 2 or 3 " suspension lift. It will be mostly driven in the city but I will be doing as much Offroading as i can. There are so many kits out there its overwhelming to me. What is a good kit to go for? Also i have 33"/12"/16 tires. What are some bigger bad *** tires that i could fit with the higher lift?

fabtech has a nice 5.5 in lift that is very beefy for 2nd gen rams
this kit is perfect for 35 in tires. also ditch the body lift. if u have
decent mechanical skills the instal time is a full saturday. good luck.

Why bother ditch the body lift? Heck, it'll just make it 8" instead of a mere 5".
