Can the new Durango be lowered since the rear has coil springs?

Can the new Durango be lowered since the rear has coil springs?
I've lowered other vehicles before and since the 04s have a coil spring in the rear I am assuming that it can be dropped an inch or two. Has anyone seen or heard anything regarding this? Its just a bit too tall for the kids to climb into. thanks.
