I am selling my beloved 2001 Dakota purchased new in August 2001. The truck has been a daily driver with occasional use as a hauler, witnessed by the bent tailgate and front of the bed partially caused by the bed liner being so slippery. The rear wheel wells are showing blistering but no perforation. All the systems work including the A/C. I've been chasing a 300,301,303,305 CEL that seems to point to injectors. Wires, plugs, cam and crank sensors have all been replaced recently. I installed trailer towing equipment with the intention of hauling a small camper but we have decided to "upgrade" to a newer RAM with 4 doors and more room.The truck has been serviced regularly and I have some records but don't claim to have everything. Tires and brakes are recent. The truck resides on Long Island and is currently registered and insured and used regularly. I do have the original window sticker and bill of sale. The vehicle has never been involved in an accident. The clear coat is gone on all the flat surfaces but the sides are still pretty good. The hauling capacity of the truck is amazing and the handling is equally so. And while the V8 may offer more get up and go I will say that the V6 has been more than adequate for everything I have ever needed from it.
