Default What is the direction of rotation for my new rotors?

Another frequently asked question is, "Which direction do the slots on my rotors face?". We machine different drill/slot patterns on our rotors for uniformity from the left side to right side of the vehicle. The easiest way to describe it is if the rotor is mounted correctly on your vehicle, the top-most slot will point up and toward the back of the vehicle. Below is a picture to illustrate the difference in machining between the right (passenger) side and the left (driver) side rotors.

Default What is brake fade???

Pad bit is called the coefficient of friction. At high temps, all brake pads have a reduced coefficient of friction. This is called brake fade. Powerstop engineers all of their friction compounds to resist brake fade. This assures safe, consistent stopping power. Powerstop.com's website has a technical data page shows benchmarking information. Different grades of pads will have different fade characteristics. Check it out!!!

I have been a memeber here for some time and some people here know me and let me tell you these brakes are top of the line. Just got a set for my 99 Ram for 103 shipped on Ebay. Installed them this past weekend and I'm more then happy with them. They stop my 6 inch lifted Ram and for the people here that don't know me or my name I have 35's on my Ram with 456 gears. In other words it's big. I will be getting another sey for my Wifes 02 Durango. I put them on my truck first to make sure they did the job right before I would put them on the Familys Durango.

Great to hear and thanks for the props!!! Remember, you can send me a PM for availability on ANY vehicle so I can get you a discount for being a forum member before purchasing through ebay!
