Question In Tank Lift Pump Conversion to FASS DDRP

I have a 2001 Dodge Cummins with the HO option. It has the Dodge intank lift conversion. I installed a low pressure warning light from BD. When under hign consumption the light will flicker to eventually on. The fuel pressure at the inlet of the fuel filter is 8 psi and dropping to 5+ during this condition. I replaced the fuel filter and it improved a little. The loss to the VP44 banjo fitting (Pressure switch location) appears to be a valid low pressure. I want to use a better lift pump such as a FASS Direct Dodge replacement. What is the modifications needed to get back to the side block external unit?
