Yeah I'm sure you pilots have your share of work cut out, along with everyone else. I have a few crew chiefs I went to school with that tell me about some horror stories. The Army up here is the craziest. They do a year stunt and then get extended for another year, just to come back home for maybe 6 months to come back for another year. Wow!!!!

When you get out you should take a trip up to Whidbey Island (where I am from) and check it out. Very nice out there, something out of a post card. Plus there is a Navy base there so you can use biliting (sp?) if you want.

Yeah I actually have a friend up there who flies P-3's- I've been meaning to get up there and see her- I'll definitely have to do that.
Idaho is no slouch in the nature department either- of course, eastern Idaho is nicer than where Mtn Home is, but it's still pretty nice! I lived all over Idaho for 2 years- from Idaho Falls to Arco (yikes) to Pocatello to Ashley. I really enjoyed it.

Oh yeah, I still do a lot of snowboarding and back packing. I love to fish and camp, I still do all that stuff. Idaho is nice, but I like Washington better.

Hey guys, I see that you two are in the AF. Well I was Navy, but now I am a contractor for the AF down here at Travis. I work on the Air refueling trainer and the Maintenance Trainers for the C-5. If you ever hit Travis let me know and I can give you the tour.

I'll take you up on that- I may be flying down next week, actually. For now I'm off to France for the 60th anniversary of DDay- should be fun.

Barnydriver,
I know that view of the KC-10 very well, I see it 5 days a week at work. And the offer is up anytime.

From the big town of Walla Walla, Wa I have a 1998 Dakota RT with 18's, DVD and other stuff. Also have srt4 but I'm going to trade it in for a Magnum RT. I'm not happy with the srt4 too many problems had it in the shop four times in 15 months
