RE: tallest tire on stock 2500 4x4?
Look at my post about Hummer H2 rims and tires on a 2000 Ram 4x4, they are stock 315/70/17 BFG A/T
The newer 2500 may be a little different, what yeardo you have?
most 35's will fit just fine with just a few compromises:
-If you get the correct wheel offset there should be no problems
-If you havethe desiel, power will be no problem.A Hemi, the same but towing may not be optimal, older 360 Magnum, think twice if you tow heavy alot. (I have 4.10 gears 360 and will swap back to my stock 265's when I tow my Jeep once in a while long distances.
-On road, on the front theinner wheel well towards the back may have very light rub at tight/U-turn, off roada little more and maybe rub at air dam corner (trim it)no big deal, but yours may vary
-Speedometer, will read faster, if your old ones were aprox 31", the new aprox 35" will make about a 5 MPH
difference at highway speeds
-On looks, even withe the H2 315's and stock susp. they dont look that big, mostly in the back
