goodyear wrangler sr-a tires dangerous in the snow
i have them on my brand new ram, and just rode them in the snow for the first time
the worst tire iv ever had in the snow by far i was on maybe 1/4" of snow doing 20 mph, and sled 80 ft with the abs on the whole way iv been driving in snow for 35 yrs and never had to use 4wd in a 1/2" of snow in my life just horrible has anyone else had this problem? im getting some duratracs this week |
After numerous bad experiences with Goodyear tires in general, I just stay far away from them.

Those tires suck on warm, dry pavement.
But yes they suck even more in the snow. But nothing beats a good snow tires tire. A RWD truck with snow tires will walk circles around a 4WD on generic all-season or off-road tires. |

duratracs are my number one choice for tires. Never a bad idea to have the wheel alignment checked...on dry pavement a bad alignment will slip and scrub but its controllable...on slippery roads...its all over the road.

Not true at all in my experience. I have had MT tires on all my 4x4s and I couldn't tell you how many times I have gone places In the snow that FWD or RWD vehicles with snow tires couldn't.
