goodyear wrangler sr-a tires dangerous in the snow
i have them on my brand new ram, and just rode them in the snow for the first time
the worst tire iv ever had in the snow by far
i was on maybe 1/4" of snow doing 20 mph, and sled 80 ft with the abs on the whole way
iv been driving in snow for 35 yrs and never had to use 4wd in a 1/2" of snow in my life
just horrible
has anyone else had this problem?
im getting some duratracs this week

Those tires suck on warm, dry pavement.
But yes they suck even more in the snow. But nothing beats a good snow tires tire. A RWD truck with snow tires will walk circles around a 4WD on generic all-season or off-road tires.

Not true at all in my experience. I have had MT tires on all my 4x4s and I couldn't tell you how many times I have gone places In the snow that FWD or RWD vehicles with snow tires couldn't.
duratracs are my number one choice for tires. Never a bad idea to have the wheel alignment checked...on dry pavement a bad alignment will slip and scrub but its controllable...on slippery roads...its all over the road.
