federal tires good or bad

Default federal tires good or bad

anybody ever heard of these tires, need tires for the wifes suv stopped at a tire shop and they told me 540 installed for a set of 265/70/16

Not a very popular tire, but the few people who have them seem to really like them...

There is a guy at work that has the Federal Couragia M/T on a 20 inch wheel and he said that they are pretty good. they cost way less than his Dick Cepek and he likes them more! It's a cool looking tire!

I hardly seen these tires, the few ppl i saw with them usually came with the Rims they bought from wheel/tire shops.
price wise, Yokohama Geolander are fairly cheap and have good reputation.

If you will to pay a little more, BF goodrich would be best bang for the buck.

Since they are quite unpopular tires, It is hard to find a matching tire if one of them blows up due to road hazard.
