Default Tire Help

New to the site was hoping I could get some help on tire replacement for a dodge 2007 3500 single wheel . Truck comes stock with 265/70 R17 I would like to replace tires with 285/70R17 BF goodwich all terrain TA My question is will the stock rims accept the new tire size, thx for the help

yes it will the only diff your lookinnnnnnnnng at is the285/70 vs your 265/70

285 is the width of the tire in millimeters
70 is the aspect ratio...in other words 70% of the width

so the 285/70s woudl be a bit wider and a bit taller but fit the same rim as that isnt much of a difference ...in inchs like 1.25" to 1.0" wider tire ...should fit no prob
