Default Off Road Tires for 3rd gen Ram on 17s

I was wondering, what are good, cheap ($500 or so for 4), smooth, off-road tires available for 17 inch rims?
I'd like them to have an overall diameter of 33" to 34".

I can get a set of rims for $250, and I'd like for the total cost to not go above $600-700, so that leaves about up to $500 for tires.

Thanks

I don't think "Cheap" or "Smooth" should ever be used to describe a worthy offroad tire...

I wish you luck.

I hear surprisingly good things about retreads from treadwright tires from jeep guys. I rarely use my truck and was thinking about getting some they run around $100 a tire for A/T.

still skeptical on retreads but I ride my bike more and more and will using my truck to get dirtbikes in and out of the woods/swamps/beachdunes around me more often. just keep an eye on the pressure when youre on the road

Lots of good ones, but definitely not cheap, and if you are buying wheels for the size you are looking at, 17x9's would suit best, but you can get by with a 285 70 on a stock 8" wheel
This is the opt size for a Power Wagon.

It will also fit under the bed for a spare
