These tires are only two years old.

They are Falken Z04 S/T
275/45/R20

Two are in great shape ... this one is toast .. one other is questionable

Any replacement recommendations?
2003 1500 Reg cab 2wd ... 20" Rims

I already have a set of Pirelli Scorpion STR's that I use for winter. So I only need summer tires.

What is the widest tire you would recommend for my truck. I like the wide look ... plus they generally have a higher load rating. I don't mind a slightly lowered look either.

I'm looking at 305/50/20 .. Yokohama Parada Spec-X

replced them with Yokohama Parada Spec-X 305/50/20
They have a seriously wider stance now.
Also, so much grip that I can't spin them at all!!!!

you ran over something in the rode and broke a belt. or have been over inflated for the weight on them. Just because the side wall says 65psi max does not mean you should run that.. I vote for the run over something on the highway.

I used to work in the tire biz and that is a slipped belt. This may be a failure in materials and craftsmanship, though you may have a hard time proving to the manufacturer that is the case. I have seen this on really old tires and really cheap tires the most. Rarely, but not unheard of, have i seen it on quality brand name tires. I am sure it's too late, but a tire like that, inside its warranty, can be warrantied by the manufacturer through the tire dealer you bought them from.
