Hello there,
I purchased a set of wheels from a 2000 durango 4x4 last week (15x8). These replaced the stock 15x6 rims. Took them down to a tire warehouse today and got some new tires installed. The tech told me I should get new lug nuts… Do i need new lug nuts or are the stock ones okay to use? If i need new lugs, do I order them for a 2000 durango since my rims are originally from one?

All he said was that they worked, but I needed to get new ones… When i picked up the truck, the lugs were too short. The size of them caused them to somewhat dig into the lug hole in the new rims. I got new ones yesterday, 1.5" long and chrome.

Well there you go. No way I would know if you need new lug nuts without seeing the wheels or told why someone else said you needed new ones.
