I have a 2002 Dodge Stratus R/T. I recently purchased new rims and new tires for it but I had planned on using the stock wheels as winter weather tires.

What I am looking for is a cheap, decent winter tire. My main concern is merely that it get decent traction in snow while still being alright to drive on the road when its clear.

The wheels are 215/50R17 - stock rim.

 

We should have a better idea of the upcoming winter tires and pricing for winter 2006/2007 around early September.
