Default Change in tire size???

Hi,

I have a 2003 Durango and I need to replace the tires. I have the original Goodyear Wrangler 265/70R 16 on the truck now but am looking to replace them with BF Goodrich All Terrain TKOs. The place I'm getting the tires at stocks 245/70R 16, which it lists as the OEM size, and I can special order the 265s. My question is it worth ordering the 265s? Will my speedometer be off by that much? Will it ride be significantly different with that little bit of size difference?[sm=gears.gif]

Thanks for the help,

Jim

The speedometer would read high by about 3.5%. You may notice it, but it wouldn't be horrible. The 245 is about an inch shorter and about 4/5" narrower. So they might look a little wimpy after being used to the 265's. Ride might be a little harder, but again nothing drastic.
