Default 3" Lift and Tire Sizes

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with 17x8 American Racing Baja rims with tire size of 265/70/17. I was considering adding a 3" lift to the front to level out the truck and wanted to know what size tires I could upgrade to. I am looking for something bigger and wider with nobbies similar to the Dayton Timberline MT's. Any help would be appreciated.

Default RE: 3" Lift and Tire Sizes

Hey dodgeram ,
from watching some of my friends with thier trucks and the backwards approach they took i would first think about what would happen if u lifted the truck inches : meaning stearing components for one turning radiuos clearence with fenders and frame , extending any wires , fuel lines , brake lines etc. , some of my friends chopped cut up fenders messed up steering knuckles by the non direct approach of not thinking of the above items i listed, not to mention the bumper laws they have in effect to minium to max height on those do some research then go from there , good luck Vinn
