Hey Ben, I have a 2007 Dodge Caliber with 18" HP racing Wheels currently on there. BF Goodrich 235/50/18. My question is, would a set of 19 or 20 wheels have been better to go with?

20's are probably bigger/heavier/harder riding than you would want on that car for daily driving. 18's are what they put on the R/T model, so we know those are fine. You could probably run a 19 without any problem also. Anyone out there going with monster wheels on their Caliber wheels and want to throw their .02 in?

 

Thanks Ben.... I think 19's would be a perfect look, and fit. What tire size do you recommend with a 19" set of wheels?

 

Depending on how wide you wanted to go, I would use one of the following sizes (approximate overall diameters are listed just to the right of the sizes; stock diameter is ~27.1)
225/45-19 27.0
235/45-19 27.3
245/40-19 26.7
255/40-19 27.0

Thanks for the info Ben, but after visiting TR, I see there is a lack of tire selection there. There are no 235/45/19's.. :-(
Also, no Utlra All Season Performance rubber. What's up with that?

 

That 235/45 is a less-common size, and 19's are still a little rare in general. Any of those sizes should be OK for the car as long as they fit properly on the wheel. 245/40-19 has a Pilot Sport All Season, and the 255s have a couple choices.
