Default 96'Ram 35004x4 dually options????

I have been hunting for answers for ever! Maybe I am a little dense?

I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 ex-cab Dually. Question # 1, What is the biggest tire I can run with no rear Dual interference? ( I have an 11" camper too).

#2. What years and makes of wheels from other Dodge or ? trucks will fit ?

#3. What other years and makes will fit and what tires can I run with no rear dual interference?

I am also open to aftermarket alloys too. I want to get away from the funky 215"s that come on this rig!

Thanks!!

You can go 235/85-16, wheels probably not wider than 6.5". I had some that wide, although I only have 4 left. They were some of the Weld Evo wheels.

So, do you have 4 of the wheels left for the Dually? I am very interested.

Ben,

I have been told I can put 17x6 wheels with 245-75-17's on my 96' Ram 3500 Dually x-cab 4x4. Does that sound right to you? I am truly surprised that it has been so hard to get this info!!

The height is fine, so if the 245 width doesn't create any issues then you're OK. I haven't tried that size on that truck so I couldn't say for sure that it's OK, but it sounds reasonable. Original tire is about 30.5 overall diameter (OD). The 235/85s are 31.7 OD. The 17s would have about 31.5 OD.
I do still have 4 of the 16" wheels.
