2002 Dodge Neon Wheel/Tirerod/Bearing Issue...
I have a 2002 Dodge Neon, with 117000 miles on it-
(I drive about 500 miles a week...)
My car makes a loud noise while driving.. If I happen to be driving at a slope (down or up hill) it is like a loud klinking noise , maybe the shocks?? Im not sure, then yesterday I noticed that the stearing is Very loose when turning right and almost like the wheel shakes to the left and the right, I drive on the highway everyday about 2 hrs.. Im assuming its not the "safest" condition to drive with.. Someone said maybe the bearings, someone else said maybe the tire rod(s) has anyone had this issue or something similar with the neons??
Help !!

Ouch! Definitely sounds like something in the suspension (although repair/diagnosis is not my specialty). If the steering feels loose and the wheel may be wobbling, you should have the car inspected IMMEDIATELY by a professional.
Hey Girly girl,
first of all can be numerous things associated with that one is if you hear a gridning noise all the time that would be more towards wheel bearing best way to get it checked is lift car off the ground grab your wheel and see if it moves back and forth or side to side really bad, another way is pull the tire off and then grab the hub and do the same effect this will tell you and visibly see the parts moving can be a tie rod end or lower ball joint , or wheel bearing or all the above, doesnt sound like i would be driving that thing around like that you could get hurt or someone esle possibly , need to get it looked at asap...
