315/75 16 inch tires on 7 inch wide rims

Will running these tires on 7 inch wide rims cause premature or uneven wear? I have read mixed results. I am currently running Pro Comp AT on factory wheels. If not, what would be the ideal size for wear 8 or 10?

Definitely would not recommend those on a 7" whee. 8-10 would be right, as you suggested.
