Taller tires for stock 2006 Power Wagon
Can 35" tires fit on a stock 2006 Power Wagon using stock rims? I heard stock rims measure 17x8, but don't know if its accurate. If 35" won't fit, what is the tallest tire that would fit? The truck comes from the factory with 285/70/17. I noted Nitto makes a 295/70/17. Are there other companies that make that size? Does anyone make 305/70/17 or 295/75/17?
Those wheels are 8" as far as I know. 35x12.50 would want an 8.5" wheel at least. Goodyear makes an MT/R in 305/70-17. That's only .5" shorter than a 35 (34" compared to 34.5") and will mount on the wheel. As to whether it clears, I'd have to defer to someone who's tried it.

No clearance issue at all in street driving, There maybe some rubbing in full articulation.
BTW-There is serious doubt as to whether 35's will fit in the under-bed spare location
