Default tire rubbing against metal

I replacedthe OEM BFG 285/70/17 tires withMaxxis Bighorn 305/70/17 tires on my 2006 Power Wagon. They're installed on the OEM 17 x 9 wheels. However when I turnthesteering wheelto the extreme right, the rear inside of the right front tirerubsagainst metal. Anyone have suggestions to remedy this problem?

If it's rubbing on the inboard side, rather than on the fender, you either need a smaller tire or a wheel that sits out farther. Or you could just find the point where it rubs and not turn past it. Some people install rack stops to keep their wheel from turning too far (although of course that limits maneuverability in tight places).
