Default 07 20" ram wheels on 05 Dakota

I am gettin some chrome 07 20" ram wheels newtruck takeoff's (will trade for silver painted 20's if anyone is interested? they will match my truck) Goodyear 275/60/20tires are for sale as well, less than 50 miles.

Does anybody know the offset of the factory 16" dakota wheels vs the 20" RAM wheels?
I hate it when they stick out of the fenderwells.

Also I am looking at 265/50/20 or 285/50/20 for tire size with a 2" front leveling kit.

Anyone with expercience/input on this?

Thanks,
LB

All 3 posts have 3rd Gen Dakotas on 20" wheels, be it Ram wheels or aftermarket. These should answer your questions...

Tire size on a 20" wheel on a Dakota will be 275/45/20.....

265/50/20 are almost identical to my stock 265/70/16's

285/50/20's are about 3/4" taller and 3/4" wider than stock, this is what I am going to use with a 2" leveling kit.

I have also found most 285/50/20's are cheaper than the 265's, not sure why other than 265 may be more popular (Les Schwab Proxo's)

Here is a great calculator to compare stock to modified.

Since the first post I have sen many pictures of ram 20's on the dakota and they look GREAT! offset si only 1/4" difference.
