Default 2002 QC 2WD Tires

I know it seems like there are 100+ of these posts everyday, I can't seem to find one that fits my situation. I have a 2002 Quad Cab 2WD with the 20's. So obviously I have the stock 275/55/20's on them, but I want bigger. I just need to find out what the biggest tire is that I can fit on my truck. Any help would be great, again sorry if this is a repeated repost.

275/60-20 will get you taller but no wider. I forget how wide the stock 20s are, but 285/55-20 and 305/45-20 will also fit on the truck if they'll mount on the wheels. Note that the 305's are wide, but actually a little shorter than stock.

I like the fact that the 275/60/20's are not any wider, I do not want the new tires to stick out more than the stockers. How wide are the stock tires?

The stock tires are 275mm wide which is just a hair over 11 inches. The first number in a tire size gives the width.
