Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
This truck was to replace a 78 D150 Custom that was a military truck with a slant 6 AT short bed and delete everything. Found a 91 Dodge D150 with a V6 AT short bed for only $600. It was definately a fixxer upper. It's been sleeping in my driveway for almost 2 years now. Does that make it a sleeper?? Ha Ha...
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Rebuilt 239 V6 with TBI. Automatic and 2WD. New radiator, new exhaust with Magnaflow CAT and Thrush welded muffler, rebuilt fuel injectors and open element air cleaner.
Suspension Modifications:
Rancho 5000 shocks, Uniroyal P235-75R15's on 15X6 steel wheels and dog dish caps. Soon to have 2" lift coils from Eaton Springs and add a leaf in rear. Factory sway bar added to front.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Replaced floor pan and new vinyl floor and aluminum insulation on floor, doors, and back of cab. Carpeted the door panels and new door seals and window belts. New 3 pt rearview mirrors outside and interior mirror. Repaired bench seat and new seat cover. Repaired and painted dash and glovebox. Replaced parking brake and brake pads.
Future Modifications:
Would like a Power Wagon style roll bar with lights. Also, body work over windshield and fresh paint. Power Traxx rear end.
