Arbalest is an old project vehicle that I picked up specifically for Burning Man/Camping purposes.
It's old, was horribly cranky from the previous owner (who apparently never hear of changing oil OR how to fix a radiator hose), and it looks like the paint will fall off in chips if you sneeze too hard at it.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Unknown/None.

Suspension Modifications:
Unknown/None.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Unknown/None.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
*Replaced old oil gauge with new digital gauge (replaced in-dash).

*Newly fabriced roof panels with custom cloth fabric.

*180 degree rotating chairs.

Future Modifications:
*Redoing interior carpet (current carpet looks like it was in a Mechanic's garage floor....but being 21 years old, that's sorta to be expected).

*Pulling center chair near double doors out due to space concerns.

*Custom-fit insulation panels for putting into all windows when @ playa/campground for passive thermal comfort.

*Custom-fit roof-mount for shade-cloth mounting when @ playa/campground for passive thermal comfort.

*"Pot-In-Pot" passive evaperative cooler powered by 12VDC 1AMP solar panel for fan airflow for active in-cabin thermal comfort.

*External 120VAC plug w/ extension cord and interior 120VAC plug used for powering various interior goods while at a friends house.

*Interior LED lights on roof crossbeams & Window Valences, as well as high-output LED lighting for cabin sleeping area.

*Interior redone to reflect a swanky palace interior.

*Doorbell mounted on exterior for guests coming over to visit.

*Secondary battery bank for interior lighting/power needs, powered/recharged via alternator relay switch & solar/wind renewable source. Read more ยป
